Journey's Neal Schon seems interested in a reunion with his group's former frontman.  The guitarist has posted a YouTube link to what he's calling a "great Steve Perry interview," which dates back to January of last year.

Schon also says he hopes he and Perry can "reach out to each other and connect once again," noting they had "amazing chemistry together."  He adds that he has "all the love and admiration you could even have" for Perry.  Schon then addresses the singer directly, wrapping up the post with, "Steve let's talk soon."

Perry's addition to Journey in 1977 launched the band's greatest commercial success, starting with the 1978 album "Infinity."  After Steve left the group in 1998 Journey spent the next ten years working with different frontmen, including Steve Augeri and Jeff Scott Soto.  Filipino singer Arnel Pineda has been fronting the band since December 2007, after Schon discovered him on YouTube.
